Positive Self-Care

Our lives are so busy that we do not always take time to care for ourselves. The excuses are many: other urgent matters, too futile, too egocentric, etc. However, self-care is necessary for our physical, mental, and emotional health. 1. It reduces stress, anxiety, and the feeling of being overwhelmed 2. It provides some necessary alone-time, to clear your mind and enjoy the moment 3. It allows you to be more receptive to others’ needs when you have “recharged” your own battery So, don’t feel bad or guilty for taking a break and caring for yourself: you deserve it!
