Stress Management

Stress is an important element of modern life and not all of it is bad. In fact, the little adrenaline jolts we feel at times—at work, in a sport competition, when meeting someone new—help us perform better and be more focused on the task. However, too much stress, especially when it seems endless and unavoidable, can be dangerous for our health. Research has shown that stress is linked to heart disease, depression, cancer, lack of sleep, low sex-drive, digestive problems, and other more or less threatening diseases.
